A simple assignment

Geldof came to us right after their rebranding, with a clear frustration. The new website was already in development at another agency, but during the first tests the team got stuck: the CMS offered little control. Adjusting content was just about possible, but the layout was stuck. Blocks were not adjustable, structures were fixed, and every detail had to be passed on via the agency. For a team that was used to the flexibility of their previous WordPress site, this felt like a big step backwards.

Our solution? We kept the new design, but converted each visual element into a flexible reusable block. This gave Geldof a complete box of blocks and the freedom to build, adjust and expand pages themselves – without being dependent on an external party. Also, further expanding with new modules or creating new reusable blocks themselves was no longer a problem.

We want not remain dependent on developers!
